Naming Ceremonies

Tailored by Angela Blattman, Civil Celebrant

Naming ceremonies may take on many different forms and are an alternative to christenings and baptisms.

They can be as religious or casual as you wish.

The ceremony is to acknowledge and celebrate your child’s entry into the world and socially introduce your child to family and friends.

My intention is to center the ceremony on your child and make it as personal as you like and involve your family and friends.

THE NAMING CEREMONY

The naming ceremony includes, but not limited to:

Your child will receive a naming certificate, as will the godparents (guardians)

A commemorative candle can be ordered upon request, for an additional cost.

A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bank balances smaller, homes happier, clothes dirty, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.”

What my clients say about me...

Angela was so great! We couldn’t have asked for more.

She was 100% professional the whole way through and, on the day, she was such a steadying presence.

You definitely need someone like Angela to keep everything calm when there is so much excitement and nervous tension.

Angela was the most amazing celebrant on our day!

She took the time to get to know us which made a ceremony personal and unique to us.

Angela was approachable and we were much more comfortable with her than any other celebrant we spoke to. Very happy.

Angela was amazing to work with and had such great ideas!
